About The Club at Sunrise

This is Clark County's course on the east side of Las Vegas, with Sunrise Mountain in the background and the Strip a short drive away. It opened in 1964 as Winterwood Golf Club, designed by Dick Wilson and Joe Lee, and the name lives on in the Winterwood Grille.

The course you play now dates to 2016. Randy Heckenkemper did a full renovation, part of the larger Las Vegas Wash project, and it reopened that summer with a new 4,400-square-foot clubhouse. It's a par 72 at 6,503 yards. There's a driving range and a short-game area, and KemperSports runs it for the county.

It's one of 35 courses Yoink watches in the Las Vegas area, and the closest alternative is Stallion Mountain Golf Club, about 2 miles away — handy when your first choice is booked solid.
