About Pomona Golf Course

Pomona is a nine-hole course off Moss Mill Road in Galloway Township, tucked into the woods, and it's been there about as long as anyone can remember. It isn't a big championship test and doesn't try to be. Cat Country 107.3 called it a good place to work on your short game or to teach someone the game, and the writer's twosome got around in under 90 minutes.

New owners took over by 2025, and one of the first things they did was redo the 10th hole, the course's bar and restaurant, which makes a good stop after a quick nine.

It's one of 30 courses Yoink watches in the South Jersey & the Shore area, and the closest alternative is Vineyard National Golf at Renault Winery, about 3 miles away — handy when your first choice is booked solid.
