About Boulder Creek Golf Club

Boulder Creek is Boulder City's newer municipal course, opened in 2003 and designed by Mark Rathert. It's 27 holes in three nines, Desert Hawk, Coyote Run and Eldorado Valley, so your 18 depends on which pair the tee sheet gives you. The look is desert oasis: palms, lakes, arroyos, waterfalls and wide beach bunkers against bare desert.

Each nine has its own feel. Desert Hawk opens and closes with water, and its ninth asks you to keep your drive left of a lake with a creek waiting in front of the green. Coyote Run has wide fairways crossed by arroyos and a par 5 that stretches to 635 yards. Eldorado Valley rewards the long hitter but has deep natural bunkers for the drive that drifts. From the black tees on Desert Hawk and Coyote Run it's a 148 slope, so pick your tees honestly.

It's a real tournament venue for a city course. It hosted the 2024 NCAA Division III men's championship and the 2025 Division II women's finals, and was picked for the 2026 Division II men's event. It also holds Monday pre-qualifiers for the PGA Tour's Shriners Children's Open and regularly hosts the Clark County Amateur.

It's one of 2 courses in Boulder City on Yoink, and Boulder City Golf Course is practically next door — handy when your first choice is booked solid.
