The thing you notice is the arroyo: it winds through the property and comes into play on 14 holes, so you often feel like you're playing from a slightly raised shelf, with odd lies and angles to match. The landing areas are generous, there are only two water features, and the trees are unusual for the desert, pear and purple locust among them.
