About Paiute Golf Resort - Wolf
The Wolf (Kwetoo-Unuv) is the newest and hardest of Pete Dye's three Paiute courses. It plays 7,604 yards at par 72, and the resort bills it as the longest course in Nevada, but it has five sets of tees, so you can pick your fight. Expect severe undulations and alternate landing areas.
The 15th is the hole everyone knows: an island-green par 3 to a big, three-tiered green. The Las Vegas Review-Journal counted it among the best holes in town, and the paper named The Wolf Best Golf Course in its 2011 Best of Las Vegas awards. Golfweek ranked it 78th among resort courses nationwide in 2017.
Per a 2021 Elevated Magazines article, it opened in 2001 with a Shell's Wonderful World of Golf match in which Annika Sorenstam shot 65 and Karrie Webb 64. Webb's 64 still stands as the course record on the resort's list.
