About Old Bridge Golf Club
The Rose, officially Old Bridge Golf Club at Rose-Lambertson, is brand new by New Jersey standards. It broke ground in spring 2022, soft-opened in October 2023, and took full online bookings from April 2024, billed as the state's first new public course in more than 20 years. New Jersey architect Stephen Kay laid it out on a 218-acre site in Old Bridge Township, and 2020 Acquisitions, the private firm that developed it for the township, runs it.
The wetlands shaped the routing. Ponds were dug to hold irrigation water, and the front nine doesn't come back to the clubhouse; it keeps going around the property.
