About Pine Brook Golf Course

Pine Brook is the Monmouth County Park System's executive course for the northwest corner of the county: par 61 and 4,168 yards from the white tees, with twelve par 3s, five par 4s and a single par 5. The white tees rate 59.8 with a 93 slope. It's a round for sharpening irons and the short game, or for bringing new players along. There's no grill; snacks come from vending machines.

The county bought Pine Brook to give that part of Monmouth executive-length public golf, and in 2012 made it the Park System's first junior-friendly facility, with an extra set of forward tees and an adjusted scorecard. Kids 12 and under pay a $7 child rate at matinee times with a paid adult, and an 18-hole FootGolf course runs every day from noon.

It's one of 75 courses Yoink watches in the Northern & Central New Jersey area, and the closest alternative is Knob Hill Golf Club, about 1 mile away — handy when your first choice is booked solid.
