Glendale is one of Salt Lake City's municipal courses, and it's a classic big-green layout with water: lakes and wetlands line the fairways and bring in plenty of waterfowl. You look out at the Wasatch and Oquirrh mountains and the city skyline most of the way around.

It's par 72, 36 each side, and runs 6,623 yards from the Black tees, with Blue at 6,248, Silver at 5,814 and Gold at 4,899. William F. Bell designed it and it opened in 1973. The course lists Tony Finau's 58 as the regular course record; the competitive record is Ryan Brimley's 61.

There's a full practice setup: a range with seasonal grass tees and mats, two big practice greens and a short-game area with a bunker. Push carts are available if you'd rather walk, carts have GPS, and there's an adaptive cart if you give 24 hours' notice. The Pin High Cafe handles food. At altitude the sun is strong, so bring a hat.

Booking a tee time at Glendale Golf Course - Glendale (9 or 18 Holes)

Tee times open at 8 a.m., seven days ahead, online, on the SLC Golf app or by phone at 801-974-2403. If you need to book further out, call the shop; there's a per-player fee for advance reservations. Early risers can get a 9-hole time off the 10th tee in the first 90 minutes of the day. The posted public rate (no year given, read September 2026) is $42 for 18 on weekdays and for everyone on weekends and holidays before 2 p.m.; senior, junior and pass rates don't apply until after 2 p.m. on weekends. Cancel at least 2 hours ahead or you'll be charged $40 a player for an 18-hole no-show.
