About Eagle Crest Resort - The Ridge Course

The Ridge is one of Eagle Crest's two full-length courses: par 72, 6,927 yards, laid out by John Thronson and finished in 1993. It runs through an old juniper forest on the high desert west of Redmond, with the Cascades on the skyline and the top of Smith Rock in view.

The resort calls it a driver's dream, and the landing areas back that up. Swing freely, then pick your spots on the risk-and-reward holes. The map survey finds no water in play, 36 bunkers, 11 holes lined with trees and seven doglegs, so the junipers are the hazard to respect.
