Who runs public golf in Oregon
The OGA runs Handicap Index service, competitions and junior golf, and owns and operates its own public course, the Bill Robinson-designed OGA Golf Course in Woodburn, opened in 1993. In Portland, Portland Parks & Recreation runs five city courses that have hosted four USGA national championships. At Pumpkin Ridge, Ghost Creek is public while Witch Hollow is private. On the coast, Bandon Dunes is walking only; carts are allowed only for medical reasons.
