About Live Oaks Golf Club

Live Oaks has been open since 1969, a John F. Stahl design that the City of Jackson describes as park-style and known for its sweeping live oak canopy. It's a par 71 on 130 acres just off Highway 49, a short drive south of Flora near the Madison County line, so it feels rural even though you're minutes from Jackson neighborhoods.

It's semi-private, with memberships and public tee times, and it has grown into more than a golf course: Roosevelts serves American food after the round, there's a member pool, the Reed House hosts weddings and events, and the Bunk House sleeps up to 80, which makes it an easy base for a group golf trip.

Booking a tee time at Live Oaks Golf Club

Public tee times are booked through the club's website or by phone at 601.982.1231. The club is open 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. and closed Mondays. Non-member rates posted in 2026: $30 plus a $20 cart for 18 on weekdays, $40 plus $20 cart on weekends, and a $30 all-day twilight with no cart fee on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
