About Bull Creek Golf Course - East

The East is one of two 18s at Bull Creek, the City of Columbus's 36-hole public complex out in Midland. Joe Lee and Ward Northrup designed both. The East is par 72 at 6,705 yards, a little shorter than the 6,921-yard West. There are no houses lining the fairways; it's wildlife, lakes and creeks, so the trouble you see is water and woods, not backyards.

Bull Creek is a tournament course for the region. It has hosted the Southeastern Amateur, Georgia high school state championships, college events, PGA qualifying and IBGA and USBGA championships. The practice setup is good for a muni: a PGA-staffed Golf Teaching Center and range, short-game areas and putting greens, plus a pro shop and grill.

It's one of 19 courses Yoink watches in the Macon & Middle Georgia area, and Bull Creek Golf Course - West is practically next door — handy when your first choice is booked solid.
