About Silver Dollar Golf Club

Silver Dollar is three nine-hole courses, designed by Dan Maddox and opened in 1985, that you can play on their own or back to back. Put two together and you get a par 72 of a little over 6,400 yards from the back tees. Trees, bunkers and water run through all three, and the club leans on its affordable anytime rates.

The practice area is a highlight: a grass-tee range, two putting greens, a chipping green with a bunker, and three par-3 practice holes. The full name is Silver Dollar Golf and Trap Club, and the shooting club is part of the same property. The bar and grill kitchen runs from 7 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.

It's one of 4 courses in Odessa on Yoink, and The Eagles Golf Club — Forest is practically next door — handy when your first choice is booked solid.
