About Capri Isles Golf Club
Capri Isles is a par 72 that is newer than it looks on paper. GolfNow's listing dates the course to 1973 and says it was rebuilt in 2003: new green shapes, more water, new fairway and greenside bunkers, a rerouted layout and extra length. So what you play now is a 2003 golf course on 1970s ground.
It's one of three clubs, with Calusa Lakes and Waterford, run as Golf In Venice by Coral Hospitality, and one membership covers all three. The practice setup is full: a range, an oversized putting green, and electric and pull carts both available. The grill does lunch from 11 to 3 and the bar is open until 5.
It's open 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. every day, and summer is the cheap season, with rates dropping from June through September.
It's one of 3 courses in Venice on Yoink, and the closest alternative is Waterford Golf Club, about 1 mile away — handy when your first choice is booked solid.
