About Harvard Gulch Golf Course
Harvard Gulch is one of Denver Golf's par-3 courses, in south Denver, and has been open since 1982. It's nine par 3s that add up to 872 yards, and the longest is 130. The city says it takes about an hour to play, which makes it the round you fit in after work, the place to take a new golfer, or a way to sharpen your wedges.
Don't write it off as a pitch-and-putt. The greens are small and bunkered, and big trees frame the holes, so a missed green leaves a real up-and-down. It's walking only, with push carts to rent, and there's a practice green, rental clubs and night golf. The Colorado Sun voted it the best public golf course in 2023.
It's one of 11 courses in Denver on Yoink, and the closest alternative is Broken Tee Golf Course, about 2 miles away — handy when your first choice is booked solid.
