About Twin Falls State Park Golf
Twin Falls is the state park course in the mountains of Wyoming County, up on a high, wooded ridge near Mullens. Geoffrey Cornish and George Cobb designed it, and West Virginia State Parks describes it as a peaceful, wooded 18 with gentle terrain. It's a wooded, unhurried round.
The park came first. Western Pocahontas Corporation and Pocahontas Land Corporation donated 3,776 acres in 1964, and the golf course, cabins and pool were built in the years after, with the lodge finished in 1970. The park has a lodge and cabins for stay-and-play trips, equipment rentals, FlingGolf and more than 25 miles of hiking and biking trails.
It's one of 12 courses Yoink watches in the Greenbrier & Southern West Virginia area, and the closest alternative is Glade Springs Village - Woodhaven, about 18 miles away — handy when your first choice is booked solid.
