About Prairie View Golf Club

Prairie View was farmland until 1991, when the Spencer family built a public 18 on it, and they still own and run it. Between the trees planted then and 400 more added in 2002, it gets a little tighter every year. Miss the fairway and you're in the heather.

It's a relaxed, family-run place, and Wapak Daily News readers have voted it the best course in the area.

It's one of 7 courses Yoink watches in the Lima & West Central Ohio area, and the closest alternative is Hawthorne Hills Golf Course, about 12 miles away — handy when your first choice is booked solid.
