About Evergreen Resort - Spruce Golf Course

Spruce is the main course at Evergreen Resort, set on a hillside above Lake Cadillac. It winds through pine forest and over gentle hills, with rolling fairways, and at 6,438 yards and par 71 from the back of its three sets of tees it isn't a long day.

The greens are the part to know. The resort calls them small, with lots of slope from front to back, so the approach and the putt are where a round is won or lost. If you want something quicker, the nine-hole Norway course sits in the middle of the resort at 2,792 yards and par 36.

The resort has golf pros on staff for lessons, puts together golf packages and group outings, and has Curly's pub and Passage North for after the round.

It's one of 5 courses in Cadillac on Yoink, and Evergreen Resort - Norway Golf Course is practically next door — handy when your first choice is booked solid.
