Scotland Yards Golf Club

Florida golf with a European flair: an old-style links on rolling hills, built by a PGA pro to play like the old courses of England and Scotland.

About Scotland Yards Golf Club

Scotland Yards is Florida golf dressed up as an old links. A PGA professional designed and built it to look and play like the old courses of England and Scotland, and it sits on the gentle rolling hills of West Central Florida. Florida Golfer credits the design to William C. Rinaldo and dates the opening to 1988.

It's about 6,600 yards from the back (Florida Golfer lists 6,661 with a 120 slope), with several sets of tees, so it works for a beginner and still gives a low handicapper something to think about. The whole cart fleet was replaced with new EZGO electric carts in August 2026.

It's owned and run by PGA professional Tom Floberg and Jeff Sweet. The dining room and lounge are open seven days, and the patio looks out over the course. The Abbey Golf Course at Saint Leo is its sister course.

It's one of 116 courses Yoink watches in the Tampa Bay area, and the closest alternative is Lake Jovita - North Course, about 5 miles away — handy when your first choice is booked solid.
