About Pinebrook/Ironwood Golf Club

Pinebrook/Ironwood is an executive course, par 61 and 3,752 yards from the back, and it plays shorter than it looks on paper only if you're straight. Dean Refram laid it out in 1970. The greens went to Champion Ultra Dwarf Bermuda in 2003, and the course calls them the finest greens in Manatee County. It was recognized as Bradenton's top golf layout in 2007 and was a finalist in 2008. It's now owned by PGA professional Craig Forney, who has put money back into the grounds and the pro shop.
