About North Bellingham Golf Course

North Bellingham is a links-style public course on the open fields of the historic Wilder Ranch. Caitac USA Corp. of Bellingham developed it and it opened in July 1995, with Ted Locke designing it to work with the ranch's open ground. The course bills itself as a real Scottish-style links, with flowering meadows and gently rolling fairways.

What you'll remember is the weather and the view. Mt. Baker fills the skyline, and the course warns of prevailing gale winds sweeping across the property, so expect the wind to decide how long it plays. It's a par 72. The blues play about 6,200 yards and the whites about 5,800, which is plenty when it's blowing. The course record from the championship tees is 65, shared by Chris Jorgenson and Kevin Pom Arleau.
