About Wild Dunes Resort - The Harbor Course

The Harbor Course is the second of Wild Dunes' two Tom Fazio courses on Isle of Palms. It winds through tidal marsh and lagoons, with holes running along the Intracoastal Waterway. It opened in 1985, early in Fazio's career. It's a par 70, so it's not about length. The fast greens and the wind off the water decide your score. It had barely been touched since the cleanup after Hurricane Hugo until 2025, when Fazio Design and Heritage Links rebuilt and expanded all 18 greens, reshaped and moved bunkers for modern driving distances, rebuilt the tees and replaced the irrigation. The holes closest to the Intracoastal were raised several feet to fight tidal flooding. Work started in March 2025, and tee times came back on Oct. 26.
