About Skippack Golf Club
Skippack is the golf course inside Evansburg State Park: par 70 and only 6,007 yards, but the state calls it a true player's course, and the greens are why. They're small and undulating and hard to hit in regulation, so plan on chipping a lot. The back nine turns wooded and rolling, and Zachariah Creek comes into play on three holes.
It opened in 1960 and was redesigned by X.G. Hassenplug in 1988. The clubhouse dates to the 1800s, and the course is open year round, weather permitting. There's a driving range, chipping and putting areas, lessons, and the Farmhouse Restaurant on the property.
