About Tunica National Golf and Tennis
Tunica National is the public course in Tunica's casino country, about 30 minutes south of Memphis, laid out by 10-time PGA Tour winner Mark McCumber. It's a par 72 with six sets of tees running from 7,204 yards down to a 4,004-yard family set, so everyone in the group can find a fit. The fairways are gently rolling zoysia and wide, and the Champion Bermuda greens are big, which gives you generous targets.
Don't let the width fool you. The wind decides how hard it plays; the general manager says that when it blows, it's a difficult course from any tee. The greenside bunkers have been rebuilt and drainage improved, with fairway bunkers next as of early 2026.
The club says it has hosted many state and regional championships, and it picked up 2025 Golfers' Voice Awards for player loyalty (No. 2) and course conditions (No. 3). There's a range, a short-game area with a practice bunker, a short par-3 course, a bar and grill, and, unusually, four indoor climate-controlled clay tennis courts. Walking is allowed.
