Everyone calls it Muni. It's the city's oldest public course, built in 1926 and a few minutes from downtown, and it turned 100 in 2026. The name came about 25 years ago and honors Jay and Lionel Hebert, Lafayette brothers and the only brothers in golf history who both won the PGA Championship: Lionel in 1957 and Jay in 1960.
It's flat, low ground, and water is the story.
