About Muscatine Municipal Golf Course
This is Muscatine's city course, about a mile north of town off Highway 38. It's a par 72 with an unusual mix: five par 5s, five par 3s and eight par 4s, 36 out and 36 in. From the black tees it's 6,520 yards (70.6 rating, 117 slope), and there are white (6,219), gold (5,454) and green (5,303) tees plus a 3,533-yard blue set for beginners and kids.
The scorecard says a lot about how the place runs. Carts stay on paths, out of the prairie habitats and 30 feet from tees and greens, and the target is a four-hour round. There's a pro shop, concessions, cart rental, a driving range and lessons, and the city runs a junior program ($45 a session in 2026). In 2026 the course opened for the season on March 9.
It's one of 19 courses Yoink watches in the Eastern Iowa & Quad Cities area, and the closest alternative is Emeis Golf Course, about 24 miles away — handy when your first choice is booked solid.
