About Osceola Golf Course, FL
Osceola is the City of Pensacola's course, off Mobile Highway on Tonawanda Drive, and it's been here since 1926. Bill Mehlhorn designed it while he was the pro at Pensacola Country Club. Wild Bill won 20 PGA Tour events, and the city calls him one of the best ball strikers ever to play.
It has real Tour history. When the Pensacola Open, a PGA Tour event, started in 1929, Osceola was one of the main courses players used, and Horton Smith won that first one. The course is a partner on Florida's Historic Golf Trail.
A 2011 renovation brought new greens and a full practice facility, and in 2016 the range got a mobile shade canopy. On a summer afternoon here you'll want it.
