About Foxtail Golf Club North
Foxtail has two 18s in Rohnert Park, and the North is the bigger test. It's a par 72 that runs 6,851 yards from the black tees (73.5 rating, 131 slope) and comes down through blue, white and a combo set to 5,261 from the golds, so there's a sensible length for most games. The South is the club's budget course; the North is the one it puts up against the rest of the county.
The North has been renovated, and Golf Inc. named it runner-up for its Renovation of the Year award in 2004. The club holds Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary certification, runs a Toptracer range and FootGolf, and the Sonoma County Amateur is on its tournament calendar. The City of Rohnert Park calls Foxtail its very own.
It's one of 12 courses Yoink watches in the Wine Country & North Coast area, and Foxtail Golf Club South is practically next door — handy when your first choice is booked solid.
