Despite the country club name, Drugan's is a public course, and its own slogan is a country club feel without the country club price. It's par 70/71 in the Coulee Region, 15 minutes north of La Crosse, with contoured fairways, shaped bunkers and bent grass tees and greens. It isn't long: 6,220 yards from the blues (70.0 rating, 122 slope), 5,763 from the whites, and down to 4,414 from the reds. One local rule to know: a ball that hits the high line wires is replayed without penalty.

The Drugan family has run it a long time. WKBT reported in June 2020 that it had been in the family for fifty years; Mike Drugan, owner for 20 of those, started working there at 13 when his parents ran it, and he got married up on the 5th, which he calls his favorite hole. The course is in the Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary System.

It's also a tournament venue. Drugan's hosts the Western Wisconsin Open, played for the 32nd time in 2026, and the La Crosse County Amateur. After the round there's a golf lounge with a full bar, and the supper club upstairs is known for its Friday fish fry.

It's one of 34 courses Yoink watches in the Eau Claire & La Crosse area, and the closest alternative is Cedar Creek Country Club, about 6 miles away — handy when your first choice is booked solid.

Book online through the course's foreUP system (guests set up a free account) or call the golf shop at 608-526-3225. 2026 daily rates are $40 to walk 18 and $65 to ride, $25 and $40 for nine. Seniors pay $30 for 18 on Monday and Tuesday mornings, juniors 17 and under pay $30 for 18, and from Thursday to Sunday after 6 p.m. a family round is $20 for the adult and $7 for the kid. Golf hours are 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
