Zintel Creek Golf Club

The Tri-Cities' oldest course, open since 1938: short at under 5,000 yards, shaded by old trees fed by the creek out of Zintel Canyon.

About Zintel Creek Golf Club

Zintel Creek is short. The club puts it at just under 5,000 yards, and in 2017 it was a par 65, so it's a round of irons, wedges and a few drivers, played between tree-lined fairways. The old-growth trees that shade it are fed by the creek that runs out of Zintel Canyon, which is where the name comes from.

It started in 1938 as Twin City Golf Club, the oldest course in the Tri-Cities, and spent most of its life as the Tri-City Country Club with a members-only reputation, although the course was always open to the public. After money trouble, members voted 128-0 in October 2017 to hand it to Save the Club, a group of 21 members, rather than see it go to bankruptcy court. They renamed it Zintel Creek in 2018 and now run it as a public club that still sells memberships with pool, fitness and early tee-time access.

Off the course there's a restaurant, a bar and event rooms, and indoor simulator suites keep people swinging through the winter.
