About TPC Myrtle Beach

TPC Myrtle Beach is the PGA Tour's Tournament Players Club on the Grand Strand, a Tom Fazio design in Murrells Inlet that opened in 1999 and is open to the public. It's par 72 and runs from 5,118 to 6,950 yards. Golf Digest named it one of America's Top 10 New Upscale Public Courses in 1999, and in 2008 gave it 5 stars, which the course says no other Grand Strand course has received. It made Golf Digest's America's 100 Greatest Public Courses list in 2013-14 and Golfweek's Best You Can Play in South Carolina every year from 2015 through 2019.

Water is in play on 11 of the 18 holes, and a creek or river comes into play on four holes. Fazio Design Company rebuilt the bunkers in 2018, and the greens are MiniVerde ultradwarf Bermuda. Course character from OpenStreetMap contributors' survey data.

It has real tour history. Tom Watson won the Senior PGA Tour's season-ending championship here in 2000, and it has hosted qualifying for the PGA Tour's Myrtle Beach Classic since 2024. Coastal Carolina's team called it home for years, which is how Dustin Johnson came to practice here; his golf school now works out of the back of the range. The practice area has a grass range plus putting and chipping greens, and the Grille looks over the 18th green.

It's one of 5 courses in Murrells Inlet on Yoink, and Indigo Creek Golf Club is practically next door — handy when your first choice is booked solid.
