About The Coves Golf Club

The Coves sits just off Grand Lake at the south end, a par 72 that stretches to about 6,500 yards from the back. What makes the card different is the mix: five par 3s and five par 5s, so the round swings between long holes where you can make up a shot and short ones where you can lose one. The club says bunkers, lakes and out-of-bounds are all in play, so the par 5s aren't free.

It runs as a private club on paper, with memberships sold to Coves homeowners and the general public, but it takes non-member tee times too. The clubhouse has been renovated and there's a new restaurant, the Birdie Bar and Grill, plus fresh white sand in the bunkers.
