About Cascades Golf Club

Cascades is Crystal Springs Resort's newest course and Roger Rulewich's third design on the property, and it's a proper nine rather than a pitch-and-putt. From the black tees it's 3,627 yards to a par 36, with a 465-yard par 4 at the 2nd and a 624-yard par 5 at the 6th, and it carries a 141 slope from the back. Move up and it gets friendly fast: there are five sets of tees down to a 1,538-yard green set, plus junior tees and oversized alternate cups for kids and new players.

Water shows up early, at the 1st green and down the right side of the 2nd fairway, and there are 19 bunkers in all. Greens, fairways and tees are bentgrass. The course also has 18 holes of FootGolf, with soccer balls for rent, and it shares the resort's 53,000-square-foot Adirondack-style clubhouse, with a range, putting greens and a chipping area on site.
