About Missouri Bluffs Golf Club
This is the St. Louis area's Tom Fazio course, opened in 1995 in the hills of St. Charles County near the Missouri River. The name is honest: it's up-and-down golf. The first hole is a par 5 that runs downhill toward the river, the par-3 2nd drops hard from tee to green, and the 3rd climbs back. There are no houses on the property, just old trees, Zoysia fairways and bentgrass greens. The OpenStreetMap survey shows trees along all 18 holes and water on only one, so the trouble here is the slopes and the woods. It's a par 71 that stretches to 7,047 yards from the black tees (73.2 rating, 132 slope), with four more sets down to 5,191.
It has a tournament record. It has held PGA Tour and USGA qualifiers, the St. Louis Nike Classic and the Missouri Bluffs Intercollegiate. New owners took over in spring 2025 along with Links at Dardenne and Golf Club of Wentzville. They renovated the restaurant and added Top Range, a lighted driving range that stays open year round. Wear a collared shirt.
It's one of 79 courses Yoink watches in the St. Louis area, and the closest alternative is Pheasant Run Golf Course, about 3 miles away — handy when your first choice is booked solid.
