About Blackberry Ridge Golf Club

Blackberry Ridge mixes rolling, wooded ground with links-style holes, and it stretches to almost 7,000 yards from the back. There are five sets of tees on every hole, so pick one that fits. St. Cloud Times readers voted it the best course in Central Minnesota in 2015, 2016, 2017, 2019 and 2020.

Before it was a golf course it was a dairy farm, part of the 560 acres where brothers Donnie and Veryl Fenlason grew up. When they got close to retirement a neighbor suggested golf. Joel Goldstrand started construction in the spring of 2000, the clubhouse opened in the fall of 2001 and the course followed. The brothers' two homes still sit off the 11th hole, next to the red tile barn that's now the maintenance building. The Fenlason family ran it for about 25 years, and local news reported a sale to new owners in July 2026.

The clubhouse has Grill19 for food and an indoor golf simulator for the off-season.
