About Donald Ross Golf Club by Indiana Tech

This is the surviving half of a 1927 Donald Ross course. It opened as Fairview, was renamed Donald Ross Golf Club in 2006, and since 2025 goes by Warrior Park Golf Course. In October 2017 Indiana Tech announced it would buy the property and turn the back nine into a collegiate athletic complex, so what you play today is Ross's front nine, just south of downtown Fort Wayne.

Don't let the nine-hole label fool you. From the Black tees it's 3,472 yards to a par 36, with a 72.5 rating and 126 slope for 18. Both par 5s (the 2nd and the 9th) run past 500 yards, and the two par 3s play 225 and 220 from the back. The White tees take it down to 3,194 and the Green tees to 2,680, so pick your set honestly.

There are chipping and putting areas for short-game work, and a private range the PGA staff use for lessons. The course is open April 1 through October 31.

It's one of 7 courses in Fort Wayne on Yoink, and the closest alternative is Brookwood Golf Club, about 2 miles away — handy when your first choice is booked solid.
