About DeGray Lake Resort Golf Course
DeGray is the golf course at DeGray Lake Resort State Park, which the Encyclopedia of Arkansas calls the state's only resort state park. The two nines play differently. Going out, the fairways are wide and the greens sit up, undulating and sloping, with water you won't always see from the tee. The back nine is carved through pine and hardwood woods and gives you much less room to miss.

Construction started in early 1973. It was the first thing built at what was then DeGray State Park, on land the state leases from the Corps of Engineers on the north shore of the lake. Money from the state's Amendment 75 conservation tax later went into improvements to the course along with the lodge and marina.
